" Roosevelt is located in the heart of downtown Chicago and functions largely as a commuter school. As a graduate student, it worked well for me because I was more focused on engaging with the city's social scene than on traditional student activities, which I had experienced during my undergrad at SDSU. The professors were well prepared and brought solid professional experience, which made the course material feel relevant and high-quality. Class sizes struck a good balance as they were large enough to meet new people and network, but still small enough to get individual attention and support when needed. "

" I definitely felt very supported during my time here. I was able to reach out to professors in my class and other professors in the department for guidance after my time here. They were generally responsive and genuinely seemed willing to help students feel supported academically and career-wise. "

" Roosevelt University had a really decent psychology program. The instructors were all of extremely high quality. The only real issue I had was with the administration. It typically was ridiculously slow. I don't know if my experience was typical, but on one occasion, they failed to register me for a class I had specifically requested to be in. Whenever I spoke to my classmates they also stated that they had significant problems communicating with the administrative staff. So essentially Roosevelt has an above average psychology program and staff, but extremely sluggish administrative staff. "

" Overall decent university. Most faculties that I had were resourceful and helpful. There was one person that I could say was the worst I have ever experienced during my undergrad and grad school. I don't understand how the university let that happen because that person literally was harmful to students' education. The administrative was horrible. They were so slow on everything, if they were ever going to work on it. However, that was during the pandemic. Maybe they were better before (hopefully after) that. Other than these two issues, RU is alright. "

" Great professors in the business and hospitality department. The rest is...a bit closed-minded as far as how they teach. Critical theory dominates. I wrote a devils advocate type paper about an Obama administration policy and, after receiving all As in the class, suddenly stopped doing so well. So there’s a lot of bias . Incompetent & terrible administration. "
