 " I liked the class schedules available for students working full time.  I took the train in, so I can't comment on parking.  My classmates were all supportive.  I would recommend attending UIC Education programs.  Loved my instructors too. "

 " The school is extremely diverse with a bustling student population located near downtown Chicago. Many of the students are commuters however, which has an impact on the school culture as a whole. On the academics end, the school is excellent and has a plethora of laboratories and study resources, including an enormous library. The campus is surrounded by several restaurants and really provides an inner city feel, but this comes at it own price as Chicago is still Chicago. "

 " UIC is a great research community with lots of support! The diverse student community and faculty makes it a very enjoyable place for graduate students to explore a variety of interdepartmental opportunities. "

 " I attended this University as a transfer student from a community college. Along with that I was als0 a commuter. This made it really hard to adjust quickly. I was not used to the high paced curriculum and wish I had a community where I could get support to learn about the best way to succeed in university classes. After a lot of trial and error I did get used to the university system of education. Overall it was a good experience but the only the I wish I had was more help for transfer students to adjust to the university. "

 " I overall have enjoyed my education here and all the faculty/staff are great people, but it is very expensive for out-of-state students! Petition for instate after my first year and was denied. Tired again after my second year and was denied again. "
