" 10/10 recommend. The best school I’ve gone to super flexible if you need to be flexible in your schedule and you don’t have to take as many classes as a regular college to meet the full-time criteria simply because they’re hours per class are set differently. A masters degree is 180 hours versus the traditional 120 hours, but that is because they offer six hours per class instead of the traditional four "

" This is a great school to inexpensively get your degree locally. However, the campus is not very safe, has extremely political bents within the classroom, and the mental health service options and parking spaces are limited and can be quite frustrating. "

" Overall a good school if you are looking for a low cost public college in Indianapolis. Has good diversity, however it is not much of a party school so if that is what you are looking for IUPUI is not the school for you "

" Overall IUPUI is a solid choice. Their programs are internship intensive, and being located in downtown Indianapolis, there are many adjacent opportunities in the community to earn credit towards degree completion.
As an adult student in the informatics program at SOIC, my degree path felt more difficult because of the journey adult/mature-students generally follow. I started at Ivy Tech and took all my general education classes there which I then transferred into IUPUI after completing that block of courses. And while IUPUI will accept gen-ed transfer credits, they wont accept informatics of program specific credits, at least from Ivy Tech, so my semesters were all Informatics and New Media classes, all semester, for the past two and half years and that monolithic path to a BS in informatics is, in my opinion and experience considerably more difficult then the more heterogeneous class schedule a traditional student would take.
Facilities are nice, and with all the new construction, campus is the nicest its ever been. "

" This program was great but a bit disorganized. It took me awhile to get my placement for capstone which was very distressing. Overall great for learning how to be a nurse - but a very disorganized program with lack of communication from staff. "
