" Overall, I'm having a great experience at Loras College. It is a small school, so the dynamic will be much different if you went to a bigger school with lots of people. There is an Einstein Bagel Co. on campus, as well as a gym. As for the teachers, they are all pretty good and knowledgeable, and are always willing to help out. Maybe a couple of quibbles, but I've had a good experience so far. As far as the buildings go, they are somewhat dilapidated, but overall, they've been decently maintained considering the college was established in 1839. "

" Loras has a close knit community and alot of opportunities for involvement. The classes are interesting without being too hard. The dorms need updating but the campus has a great gym and it's an easy place to have fun. "

" I really enjoyed being an undergrad psychology student, as the professors and staff in the department were amazing. I actually came back to Loras this year for graduate studies. However, I wouldn't recommend Loras as a college that accepts all kinds of people. It was incredibly difficult for me to make friends there--a lot of the students are similar and don't know how to act around difference. The campus ministry students are particularly judgmental. It felt like high school all over again, socially that is. I even witnessed a fair amount of bullying, aimed at myself and other students (one student had autism). The sport atmosphere is overly emphasized as well. Other than that, it was a good experience academically. "
