 " Washburn University is pretty much the only university with free parking in Kansas (be careful not to park in the closed off lots/painted curbs meant for faculty/staff, because you'll get a ticket from campus police). The university has a very small student/instructor ratio, so there is an opportunity for you to get that one-on-one interaction from professors. Washburn University is mainly known for it's nursing program, law school, and forensic science program (as the facility that students work with is the lab for the Kansas Bureau of Investigation {KBI}, which is located on the southeastern corner of the campus).  " I really like it here. I can't speak for other areas of study, but I like the professors I have for Mass Media and I love the size of the campus. The teachers are very one on one with the students and accommodating. "

 " Washburn is a great school and a lot of one on one teaching. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved on campus and the professors are very understanding and help you have a better understanding of certain subjects. "

 " Great School. It is a great small school. The professors are very personable and are always willing to work with you. I have never had more than 20 people in my classes, even my freshman classes. The class sizes are small which make it very easy to learn and make connections. "
