" I enjoy the environment and the professors. The programs provide students with the tools needed to succeed. The resources available ensure that students can access any necessary information. Professors are readily available and ensure each student can understand the material. They provide simple and clear directions for assignments and projects. The professors provide feedback that helps the student improve their written and analytical skills. "

" The program was very flexible in terms of offering classes in the evening. The professors are very helpful and invested in their students' success. Unlike some other doctorate programs, the program at Cumberlands allows its students to work at their own pace, and take off semester(s) if needed because of other unavoidable events. My only complaint would be the program grew too big, too quickly which caused the professors to be less accessible. They have hired new professors so I believe this issue will no longer be the case in the near future. "

" The online PhD Program is outstanding! This is the most cost-effective and straightforward program there is. They accepted 15 transfer credit hours from my graduate degree. The PhD degree plan is simple: courses, comprehensive exam, IRB approval, dissertation, and oral defense. The instructors do not hound students, provide very direct guidance, and expect coursework to be done on time and in post-graduate quality. The expectations are clearly stated and enforced. This has been an outstanding doctoral experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to pursue their PhD. Every graduate school needed to use UC as the benchmark standard. "
