" Tulane is a great institution located in the heart of New Orleans. It has world class academics and great professors. The biggest drawbacks are it's location in the city with little access to easy food off campus and also it's somewhat dated facilities in certain departments. "

" Tulane embodies the expression "work hard, play hard." Tulane students tend to come across as "party people," but as soon as they start talking about whatever they are passionate about you quickly realize how smart and dedicated they actually are. Tulane has a low-key, casual, chill vibe and is very unpretentious. I found it to be the perfect environment for me because it is so low stress that it allowed me to thrive academically even though it is academically rigorous. Most professors truly care about you not just as students but also as people and will help you academically and personally. New Orleans is cheap, fun, and rich in culture and history. However, New Orleans can have its downsides as well. Expect periods of time where you can't use the water during water boil advisories and constant crime alerts (the area around campus tends to be pretty safe, though). Tulane has excellent facilities and resources, but the on-campus dining options are horrible. New Orleans is the foodie's dream, so you will never go hungry (most students gain weight from all the NOLA food). Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler! "

" It has something for everyone. The party scene and greek life is big but also offers an excellent and engaging education. Many students here are Business, Pre-Med, or Pre-Law. Many perks to living in New Orleans and Tulane offers many campus wide events for students. "

" If you like warm weather, great food, and an outstanding party scene, Tulane is the place to be. New Orleans (NOLA) is one of two places in the COUNTRY that allow drinking in public, so every tailgate, BBQ, happy hour, or general get-together is a great time. The school itself is challenging, but that's ok! Because most students will graduate with a great job. "

" I feel like this school robbed me and will continue to do so until I have paid off my student loans. The psychology department only cared for people that were in the honors program, or willing to fight to do an honors thesis. The class requirements allowed for a very minimal study of psychology to receive a degree. I feel unequipped to claim a psychology degree even though I had a decent gpa upon graduation. I think the organization of course requirements need to change or classes need to include exams or reports that short answer, nit just multiple choice. "
