 " Overall, I enjoy going to LSU. However, there are many things I think could be improved on campus. Some of the buildings are old and gross. The basement of Lockett comes to mind, as it flooded during a rainstorm and has smelled like mold ever since. Parking is another issue. I have skipped class before because I couldn't find a parking spot, and I know I'm not the only one who has done this. I also want to bring up safety as an issue, especially as it relates to women. I know many women who have had to spend money on pepper spray and tasers just so they can feel safe attending a night class on campus. I love LSU, but I think there's always room for improvement.  " The online programs do not receive the attention the on campus ones get. Professors are essentially non existent and you have to teach yourself the material. No video lectures are provided. There are constant issues with registration. The communication from the school is next to nothing. It's easy and fairly affordable, but lots of busy work. "

 " Just dont feel like university cares about its students- only athletics. Great school if interested in athletics or sports. Graduate school very different than undergraduate program. Surrounding area has a high crime rate, and the campus is almost on its on island. "

 " A great school overall and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely needs more parking availability for students. If you're into football or sports in general, LSU is definitely the place to be. Academic wise - it's amazing as well. They offer a wide range of majors and concentrations, and the professors here really do care about how well you do. I'd recommend this school every single time and I absolutely enjoyed my time here. "

 " LSU is a great university. There is a lot of support from faculty and staff. I’m extremely happy with my decision to attend. The scholarship is great for stem and humanities students alike. It is definitely a standout university in the region and the communications program is extremely strong. "
