 " The experience at Louisiana Tech University depends on what program you choose, but overall, the school is good. It is a safe, small environment with many resources. It is a research-heavy school, so they have many academic journals that you can access. They are also known for their engineering program. I don't personally watch sports, but they do have a big sports-culture. Their football, baseball, and basketball games are quite popular and have a good atmosphere. The cafeteria is ran by Aramark, so it is consistent quality. They just got a new building for chemistry, engineering, and biology classes with brand new equipment, so I would very much recommend this school if you are a STEM major. Parking sucks though. Get there early. "

 " Louisiana Tech is a great school for an affordable price. The College of Applied and Natural sciences has some wonderful faculty that honestly care about students. Class sizes are small which gives you the opportunity to really get to know professors, and they will always help you if you come after class. I was able to conduct research with several faculty members who had openings in their labs. Latech offers many great degrees to major in, but I can personally vouch for the steller departments of: Forestry, Environmental Sciences, and Business. "

 " this is a great place although it is on the smaller side- I like the place, and the sports are a big thing and important to support all. the campus is small but not too small, but the class rooms are also small and old except for a few buildings. the staff is great and helpful and will do anything if you try and work hard for it. they do send you in circles sometimes but often it resolves it self.  " Pretty great school so far, with lots of diversity and friendly faces. The classes are understandable, and you should be able to study at your own pace in your free time. If not, they even have a tutor section on campus to help you understand more of what you're learning. "

 " Louisiana Tech University has a beautiful campus. Faculty and staff are friendly and willing to help students where they can!  LTU is in a small town in the country. It is a quiet town and relatively safe town. However, there are other places where students can have fun. Finding a place to live is not a problem as houses and apartments are pretty affordable. The only caveat was that there were not a lot of parking spaces. That was the bummer. "
