" A great school to attend for a variety of different studies. The atmosphere was amazing for all students, faculty, and staff. The school is a great location, right near the lake and not too far from the city of New Orleans. "

" Frequent property crime and occasional violent crime, leave nothing valuable in your vehicle. Price is reasonable, but facilities are run down. Administrative practices are disparate and chaotic. Academics are typically solid, but lack of uniformity or organization with general university leadership. "

" It's a decent school if you're looking for a easy degree, and the staff is friendly. The only problem is the wifi, lack of food-choice, and random crime that bi-monthly occurs on campus. I've never had an issue with any of the staff so far, and I feel my grades are deserved for the most part. Another issue they have is they have a priority focus on commuters over those that live on campus. Dorms get booked quick, and the apartments on campus have a lot of maintenance problems. There is a lot to do on campus socially though, so it's never boring. "

" The biggest problem with UNO is that after Katrina the university was given very little funding. It is a state school and was directly affected by the hurricane and the financial affects after the disaster. "
