" Although UMO feels like a big university size wise, they have an amazing culture and provide you with everything you need to succeed and have an enjoyable college experience. I would recommend students look to come here as the balance between social scene and academics is perfect for most. "

" A really good option for students from New England who get the regional tuition rate, if you're in-state there are cheaper options, at least do your gen-eds at a community college first. Lots of good clubs to join but nightlife is lacking cause its such a small town. "

" It's a competency based online program which works well for students who also work. It is primarily essays, so if a student likes to write it may be a good match. I have almost completed 10 classes in only four months. "

" I thoroughly enjoyed the small class sizes and discussion based learning environments that emphasized freedom of speech and debating different points of view. I felt my professors were engaged with students on a professional and human level. "

" They need to really improve the number of parking spaces, lighting at night and quality of food in the dinning halls. A lot of the residence halls are very old. They would also rather spend money on building new academic buildings (not to replace the old ones) to gain new students but then there’s barely enough housing and no parking whatsoever (especially for commuter students). They also like to push off important maintenance like taking asbestos out of residence halls and it took them like 6 years to fill in the pot holes for a quarter of the campus. "
