" Had a great experience as an undergrad overall. Food and facilities are well above average (though unfortunately so is the sticker price). Made great connections with faculty, thanks to very small class sizes. Campus culture is very left-leaning, to the point of exclusion of other viewpoints. If this works for you, it's overall a very safe learning environment. If it doesn't, you'll be happier elsewhere. Not a lot of emphasis on athletics, so gym is pretty small compared to large universities but still plenty for the average gym-goer. "

" Goucher College is a good college overall. Keep in mind, it is a liberal arts college and very political. Often times, opinions get in the way of making friends because some students are very closed minded of those who do not have the same opinion as them. There is a gap between the athletes and non-athletes socially (the athletes stick with the athletes and the same goes for non-athletes).The education you receive here will set you up for various future endeavors because you will learn from a variety of fields and a lot of majors have required internships.The campus is beautiful and Goucher is in the middle of revamping some of the older buildings. Goucher is always looking for fun and/or interesting guest speakers and other cool events to host on campus and it is relatively easy to reach out to an administrator and suggest a certain person come to campus. The expensive tuition and study abroad requirement does make Goucher a big financial commitment. Numerous students transfer out due to the financial burden and other reasons. Double check that they have your major before you commit to attending because they are currently in the midst of downsizing their programs. "
