" Amazing school. Staff is always helpful, and clearly want you to succeed. Foundation year / Freshman year is a bit tough, but they want to make sure you can handle the rest of the education. Art school isn't easy, so be prepared to lose sleep. "

" Overall the Massachusetts College of Art and Design is a good school. The Industrial design program is a great program that may be slightly lacking compared to others but is much more cost affective. I would tell future students to learn as much as possible about all the majors during the foundation year. "

" I love MassArt, majority of the teachers are amazing and will accomodate / work with you if you are ever in a rough place or need extra help. Some of the liberal arts classes can be annoying, especially if you just want to go to your studio to make art, but overall all the classes are worth it. Food could be better, but the location, dorms, and views are awesome. "

" I definitely think your experience at MassArt will depend on which major you decide to go into. From my own experience, my industrial design class was quite small which allowed for a more personal and collaborative environment among the students and teachers. Other majors are much larger in terms of the amount of students which I feel might cause some cliques to form. In general though, I have met some of the nicest people at MassArt and all of the teachers are super friendly and helpful especially if you make an effort to show you care about the material and want to learn. I would still recommend coming to MassArt because of some of the teachers, material, and it is in a great city! "

" Great School! A lot of opportunities can be given! Many experience and you'll definitely learn something new everyday! Everyone is nice and you'll feel comfortable everywhere you go on campus! Every major feels like they accomplish so much and everyone seems happy doing what they do best! First year is basically to experiment other majors and see what direction you would want to take! "
