" There are endless opportunities for students at Harvard. I have made some of the greatest friendships with alumni, professors, and students. This university allows me to branch out into the person that I wish to become. Attending a place like Harvard opens my eyes to the many different backgrounds people originate from. There is immense culture and knowledge shared between students. "

" I am almost finished with the Master's degree from Harvard's Extension School. I would highly recommend it. The course selection is enormous, the classes are the same as the normal Harvard, and the professors are for the most part really awesome. I'm very happy with the enrichment I received from my education (I'm already well along in a career so this degree doesn't affect my job other than providing more credibility). The only down sides are that there are not enough academic advisors / counselors to fit capacity and the class registration is stressful and sometimes technically fraught. Otherwise, having a Harvard degree is achievable and will not bankrupt you! "

" Overall, it's been a great experience. There are so many opportunities to engage with world-class speakers and leaders, which really adds to the learning environment. The atmosphere is intellectually stimulating, and there's a good mix of on-campus and off-campus activities to get involved in. "

But note that Harvard exists within its own bubble and it can be a difficult adjustment for students with more varied life experiences than your average Harvard grad. It still opens up so many opportunities and the financial aid can't really be topped. "

" Very helpful academic staff with a bevvy of resources. The fear here is that classes will take away from being able to experience all the resources and opportunities that Harvard has to offer. This being said, the segregation of student organizations between graduate schools and undergraduate classes is stark. It is hard to find out about organizations outside of one's school within Harvard. "
