" Social scene relies on joining clubs. The overall student population can be cliquey and to make friends I would highly recommend joining a club or getting a job on campus. The food options are terrible for the price of the food. You have to pay for each item and the food is not quality and they serve the same options every week. "

" My experience at Boston College was a blast! I loved it! A combination of lessons from top-notch professors and beautiful campus grounds and architecture created an environment that was not only socially fun and academically stimulating, but also spiritually uplifting. "

" As a Computer Science Major, the courses are very limited. The Computer Science department is very small but I believe they are hiring new professors every year now. That being said in my time at BC, what I didn't like is that there are a limited amount of electives to choose from for CS. The courses and professors are very school oriented, I've heard this from other students too. Sometimes you can't really network with CS professors in terms of jobs because of this. The campus can do more when it comes to supporting students of color and minority groups in general. But overall, BC is a really good school academically despite some of it's downsides. There are a lot of resources to find jobs and internships just as there are many student organizations to join. The campus is beautiful, you can always find a nice place to study. Social scene wise, it's alright I guess. Pre-covid lots of parties on the weekends although personally I thought they sucked. If you want to get into a party you have to know people, be part of a club or be a senior. There are a lot of campus events though that are really fun to do with friends or just to meet new people especially as a freshman. The food is ok but after a while it gets tiring just because of the same menu options from time to time. "

" I made a great choice attending Boston College as it was the right fit for me! The Jesuit education philosophies were just what I was looking for and would encourage other students to look into it as well! "

" BC is a school that fits a certain type of person and if you don't fit that criteria then your experience is not prioritized. However if you are part of the main crowd or can find your niche then BC is a wonderful place with a beautiful campus and fantastic opportunities to learn. "
