" Pretty mediocre at best. The best thing about the campus in my opinion is the area that it's in since there's beaches and malls and food that are all extremely close. I'd recommend looking for friends through clubs and things like that . "

" Campus life is great, social scene is pretty nice when on campus. I heard they're closing the dells, though. The computer science program is difficult, but you definitely learn a ton when going through the course provided you put the work in to understand the courses. "

" The Engineering College is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in engineering in general but Comp Sci specifically. The campus buildings may not be nice to look at but the faculty take your education very seriously and are very helpful if you ask for it. The faculty would probably be UMass's biggest strength at every year level. Senior Design is meant to give students a real world experience with outside companies, which opens up great opportunities and experiences for students. It's not an easy experience but it is very rewarding. "

" The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth was a great university to attend for my Master’s degree. It was highly affordable compared to others schools in MA, had excellent resources to conduct research, and had superb faculty who truly care about each and every one of their students. "

" It is good I like Umass Dartmouth because it has incredible architecture. Personally i disagree with the idea that it is one of the 100 ugliest campuses in the country as an art major I can appreciate the brutalist lines and geometric forms. If you go here, be wary however that Dartmouth can be a very gray place in terms of visuals. When the sky is grey it can make the distinction between concrete and sky dull. However in the bright day and nighttime is when this campus is the best. Daytime allows you to see the infamous architecture of Paul Rudolf, who was known for his brutalist buildings and prisons in the past. (The story goes that he went way over budget in the construction of this campus, and was eventually fired, but not before the main campus building were finished). At nightime, the lights inside the towering concrete slabs illuminate the spaces of life between the rock. The buildings stand like colossal weights of stone like a force of nature defined by rules and perpendicular action. "
