" I had a wonderful experience at this institution and would recommend it for all individuals seeking an academically rigorous college experience. Williams has unique opportunities for undergrads to collaborate with faculty as there are (almost) no graduate programs on campus. "

" I really enjoyed the academics at Williams. The professors were very involved with students and accessible for feedback. I can't really overstate how rewarding my conversations in class were, with professors and other students. People were really committed to learning. Most classes were small and allowed for ample discussion. The homework load is very high, and I often read hundreds of pages per week.
The school social scene is somewhat work hard/play hard. You may not see your friends that often if you are all devoted to studying, but there are a lot of clubs and sports to get involved in. Parties were somewhat frequent and there was a drinking/hookup culture (that I can't speak for personally, since it didn't interest me).
Many of the buildings are new and in good repair, including the science buildings, library, and bookstore. The dorms are fairly comfortable and there is a good chance of getting a single if you want one past freshman year. The campus is very quiet and picturesque, and this affords ample opportunity for hiking or getting involved with nature (also close to local Massachusetts skiing and golf). However, Williamstown is also somewhat the middle of nowhere, so it's hard to get off of campus unless you have a car. The food was quite good and the dining hall staff are dedicated and friendly. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options almost all of the time (as far as I can tell, as I have no dietary restrictions).
Depending on what field you go into, you may find it difficult to get a job placement. My personal experience with the career office wasn't great as a psychology graduate, but they do have tons of resources that might be better in different career areas. My degree from Williams certainly helped me when I was applying to graduate schools, and I was told often that potential schools were impressed by it. "
