" Kettering is well known and really good for engineering and computer science, but don't go there for anything else. I'm a freshman bio major here and they're cutting my major and I'm probably going to transfer. They're doing a lot of renovations right now and the school has lots of opportunities for students. Kettering has a co-op program where you alternate 3 months of work and 3 months of classes. They help you find a job in your major and after you graduate. 100% of students get a job or go to graduate school within 6 months of graduation. "

" With the growth of co-op programs at other universities, the main benefit of Kettering is quickly becoming commonplace. Facilities and lab equipment are often older and fail to compare with more modern schools. The teaching staff is very hit or miss dependent on the subject and on the semester. However, Kettering maintains a powerful reputation within the automotive industry so if your end goal is to enter the automotive world, Kettering is a worthwhile option. "
