" I generally enjoyed studying at Wayne State, but I cannot say I recommend math classes at a higher level. There are many amazing professors, but nearly everyone I know in the department got stuck with a professor who has been willing to fail the majority of students. Be warned that getting Wayne-Stated (screwed over by the college in some way) is a real thing. There also is not much of a social scene here although it may be getting better because of the improved student housing. The gym provides what you need, but it was always overcrowded and the equipment in the weights section was not always clean. I felt safe the majority of time on campus, but there have been a few instances where I did not. Overall, I think you get what you pay for with Wayne State. You will get an education, might have to put up with some unforeseen obstacles, and you will not be in a huge amount of debt compared to other schools. It was not an excellent experience, but it was sufficient. "

" I love WSU- I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and am now currently a graduate student. I have never felt unsafe on this campus, despite the bad reputation Detroit gets. I love the campus environment, and being a research institution, fits my needs in that regard as well. I would absolutely recommend WSU to anyone! "

" Nice school. It was a great place to study communication and I really enjoyed my time there. I was able to network, earn scholarships, and find a job shortly after graduating. As a master's student, I also found it to be affordable. I would definitely recommend it to others. "

" I study remotely so a lot of these questions I can’t answer personally, but the school is wonderful and I am excited to finish my studies there. I’m a first semester freshman in my graduate program as much are student. There will be a time where I can do my internship and I’ll be able to answer the survey more accordingly. "

" It's a good university if a little small. I don't really live on campus but I know that there aren't a lot of good food options, not within walking distance anyway (I may be biased in that). Other than that, it's fine. Though be warned that I might be wrong about the number of computer labs. "
