 " I'm really liking my time here! MTU was a great choice! The CFRES department is fantastic and the professors are all always really helpful. I also really appreciate the support from other students and classmates. "

 " The staff at MTU are amazing and super helpful all the time. The campus feels safe and welcoming. Parking and housing can be rough a lot of the time with pretty limiting housing and parking lots. Enrollments are increasing while no new housing or parking is made available. It gets really cold and snowy up here which can suck sometimes but most professors are understanding of that and will try to accommodate. "

 " I was a PhD student and lived off-campus so I didn't use a lot of the services a traditional post-secondary student would. I think Tech is a great place for a) people who like winter b) people who are interested in engineering/CS/biology and other tech-related fields. If you like doing things outside (snowboarding, skiing, golf, kayaking) and are interested in STEM, Michigan Tech is definitely a place you should check out. "

 " Great University poor admin. For an engineering-based university, there is still a lot to offer in Human Sciences as well as Business. I would suggest this university for people looking to be engineers or in a science and business field. "

 " Overall, my experience at Michigan Tech was not all that bad. My classes were manageable for the most part, I made a lot of friends, and joined a number of orgs. I did have a number of professors who did not provide a very good experience. The culture at this school was probably the worst part; a vast majority of the students are white men, and the culture could feel very uncomfortable for people who do not fit that description.
