" St. Olaf was founded for the white, Anglo-Saxon student in the 1800s and it has note progressed much since then. Some of the fields of study are well funded and tended to (math, biology, economics), while others (mostly humanities) are left floundering and with little attention or resources. The school is beautiful and there is a lot of potential within the institution, but it's really only equipped for a certain type of student; anyone existing outside of the norm is left to fend for themselves with little support from an administration hell-bent on maintaining the white supremacist status quo. " I found that this school is really cliquey and very subpar. The food has gone downhill since COVID, the academics are pretty average, the social scene is super small but lots of stoners around and drinking present despite it being a dry campus, TONS of racism (pub safe will not like you if you're not white), and admin are pretty out of touch with students. As for support on campus, I would say that's pretty adequate and it's the best part of going here, however that still doesn't make up fro the faults in my opinion. "

" I felt that I received a quality education from this institution, although I wish they did a better job of providing career services for students in the humanities. There were far more job fairs, etc. for students in business or the sciences. "

" Great campus, very strong math department. Welcoming atmosphere, everyone is really nice. The social scene leaves a lot to be desired, but if you are creative, you'll always find ways to have fun. The food is much better than most colleges. "
