 " Overall I would recommend the school for everyone.
The school offers a lot of activities for regional and international students too. It is easy to find part time jobs thru the school. School stuff the best they are really helpful with every question you have! The school is in a very good location easy to find apartments and in campus living, lot of restaurants, shopping options next to the school. You can reach the heart of downtown in 15 minutes by transportation. 
This is a good school for everyone who want to enjoy their uni lifetime and at the end getting a good degree with it. "

 " I am an online student so I cannot say how nice the amenities are. This school is a commuter campus with no onsite living. My fellow classmates seem to be people from just out of high school to retirees looking to get a degree in their free time. "

 " Professors were a mixed bag - a few were good but most were not skilled at teaching and had no sense of passion. Class choice was pretty decent for adult learners, as to be expected. There was no focus on professional development. I dropped out after two years. "

 " Metro is a great place for non-traditional students and is especially geared towards transfer students. After dropping out of my first college experience, I returned years later to community college and then continued on to Metro. Since no one lives on campus there isn't always a lot of socializing, but everyone here is serious about their education, which was important to me. "

 " Metropolitan State is a good options for students with community/technical college credits within the MNSCU system. 

The professors can be hit or miss. The ones that are good are awesome and the ones that are bad are terrible. Check with classmates and ratemyprofessor as you are signing up for classes. "
