" I love the University of Montana! It isn't perfect, but I have thoroughly enjoyed getting my undergraduate and graduate degree here. If you are a big fan of the outdoors, smaller classes, a campus that only takes 10 minutes to walk from one side to the other, then U of M is the place for you. "

" Parking is a nightmare and the administration and academic bureaucracy was a pain. That being said, the professors and student body are lovely. They more than make up for the downsides. Scholarships are slim, but the tuition is already very cheap relative to the quality of education one receives. "

" Cool place, most people are chill. Not as much club advertising as I would hope for. I wanted to join clubs but I didn’t know where to join or who to talk to. Also if you’re liberal like me you will meet a bit of adversity here. Not a problem though, you’ll find your people and most people are cool and up for a conversation anyway. "

" The quality of instruction is second to none. It is a semester schedule and not quarterly, so be aware of that going in. The administration is awful. The president, Seth Bodnar, is more concerned with his own prestige and success than he is with the consistently decreasing enrollment numbers of the school. Parking is similarly horrible. Passes are a "Right to Hunt" and not a guaranteed spot which, when getting to class on time is important, makes for an unnecessary stressor. "

" I enjoyed my time at University if Montana, Missoula College. I changed my major several times through my time here and completed an Associate Degree in Surgical tech. The program was good however underfunded. I was paying Missoula College tuition but had probably half my classes on the university main campus (which is beautiful). Yes there are a plethora of issues regarding management and funding in this university, however, I believe they are trying to fix what is broken. The in state tuition is manageable, (textbook prices are NOT,) student Insurence is adequate, and there are good mental health support systems. On campus housing is expensive but offers good living facilities, meal plans, and social interaction/clubs for freshman. I will be returning for postgrad. "
