 " Might be a little more changeling than other schools, but you'll do fine as long as you pick the right courses and instructors. Also pick clubs based on your hobby or what you enjoy during your free time. It will help you kills hours in campus and also a great way to build connection. Would probably go back again for masters or graduate programs . "

 " Good education, can be difficult and some professors act like it's MIT. Get a good mix of courses and knowledge that is applicable to real world experience. Parking is the biggest gripe I have. NJIT is a big commuter school so the parking situation pretty much always sucks especially in the afternoons. It can be hard to find parking and get to class on time. I didn't spend much time on campus, so can't really comment on campus life. "

 " Good university, especially for the price. Kind community and good education, resources, and teachers. This college is of what you make it. My favorite place to study is in the library, very quiet and nice. "

 " This school has lots of great clubs and research opportunities as a top-tier research university. The food is great as there are lots of food options to choose from on-campus. Similar to other colleges, some professors might not be best in teaching so I'd recommend looking at RateMyProfessor and registering for classes with good professors ahead of time. Overall, no matter where you go, college is what you make of it! "

 " From my experience, it's a bit of a "toss-up". Sometimes, you'll get insightful professors who are willing to pour into you. Other times, the professor is quite absent, difficult to understand, or just not fun to interact with overall. Free parking will always be terrible, which is expected since it is Newark. I wish I could give a more detailed review but every aspect of NJIT is such a mixed bag that it's hard to make concrete statements about the college. I will say this though, the Career Services Department is consistently great. From their communication skills to their ability to guide you through your desired industry, the professionals in career services will be a great asset. Other than that, incoming students should be very intentional in how they move so that they can be involved in the right degree, learn from the right professors, build with the right students, and target the right goals. I unfortunately failed to do this but I still wish the best for the college's future prospects. "
