 " Generally follows up on the promise of ROI. Could be stronger in regards to supporting the job searches in non-engineering majors. The school has potential to be a robust institution for a diverse array of students, but moves at a snail's pace in terms of fostering a welcoming environment. This has some positive elements, such as being able to make a club to represent a community not yet represented at Stevens, but may also meet some resistance socially, particularly in regards to marginalized students. My experience with professors has been overwhelmingly positive; only 4 of the professors that I have had (out of 20+)  did not handle the courses they were teaching in a competent manner. "

 " Look at its alumni success/salary ranks and you'll know its good. Strongly recommend, great return of investment. Great Location and lots to do in NYC/Hoboken area. Interesting majors, very accredited. You'll stand out more than NYU and Columbia students to employers. "

 " As a current senior, I think Stevens is a great school for anyone interested in the fields of engineering and/or business. It may be on the more expensive size, but it’s location and return on investment make it a worth investment. Also, the Co-op program Stevens provides is a wonderful way to give students some real work experience and open up the door for many opportunities after graduation. "

 " Great environment if you're looking for a chill place to meet cool people and learn, but not party as much. Everyone in the administration and the faculty is super genuine and cares about your overall success. It's not a weed out school. It is a school that will support you. "

 " Only a five minute commute to Manhattan. Once you get a degree, it would be very easy for you to find a job in NYC. Although the tuition is high, the faculty, students, and academic resources available has been very useful and worth it in my opinion. However, on-campus housing is not guaranteed after your 2nd-year, so be on the lookout for off-campus apartments. Social life is okay, and the dating scene is pretty much dead. Expect students to be very busy due to the rigorous curriculum and high work loads. "
