 " This school is really good. The staff and professors are good, with your few exceptions. The food on and around campus is great too! My favorites are Frontier and Sagios. They also have many international foods near by like ramen at ORamen and Greek at Olympia. "

 " As an out of state student, this school is very affordable. The resources on campus are also so helpful, you just have to be willing to reach out and take advantage of them! Most of my professors have been very reasonable and passionate about what they teach. As long as you're studying something that you're passionate about and willing to put in the work, this school is a great fit. "

 " After Covid many food places shut down and have not reopened and therefore food options are limited and overcrowded. More food places would be great! The cost of living is higher here (at least compared to where I came from) and graduate students are not paid a livable wage. Some of us have families, partners and spouses who help but the rest are left to struggle to make ends meat. I also do not feel safe most of the time on campus, especially when I am there really earlier, later in the day or on weekends. The University is an open campus and they allow anyone to come onto campus where my last school was a closed campus and only students and staff were allowed on campus, I felt much safer there. The homeless people are all over campus and will harass and physically attack you. The university has cracked down on the homeless during covid but it is still bad and now that covid is over they are not enforcing as much anymore. "

 " Most professors were rather mediocre in my experience, however, there was the occasional outstanding professor. The campus community is rather lacking since most students commute. Overall, it was well worth it considering the price. "

 " It’s a great institution but located in a dangerous area. Please be wary of walking at night and definitely carry something to protect yourself with, such as mace. Since the university is located in central, there is a lot of homeless people around who don’t always have the greatest intentions. The academic professors are great, though! "
