" I really enjoyed my time at SUNY Potsdam. The eateries on campus offer a variety of dishes, and I still miss some of the past dishes I ate as a student. The campus is located just outside of the Adirondack Park, providing ample opportunities for hiking and camping. I made close friends in clubs, which helped me develop a better sense of self. Although I majored in art history, I had minors in communications and writing, which, combined with my experience with the student newspaper, led me to pursue a graduate degree in mass communications. "

" The school, in general, is adequate. It is a relatively inexpensive state school with a wealth of academic fields to study, a decent community, decent athletic facilities, and satisfactory food. However the campus itself is nothing special to look at and the town which it is found in is quite lackluster. The program I attend, the secondary education program, headed by two professors who are insufferable, is a complete waste of time and money. Don't attend this school if you hope to be a teacher. It is sub-par in every way. It delivers little in terms of teachable content, it does not provide enough educational strategies, it is filled with useless jargon and theoretical debate, and the two main professors who lead the program are strung-out, disorganized, and unrelatable. Find a different school for this degree, or choose a different degree if you're dead-set on this school. "
