 " Due to my first semester here being ruined by COVID-19, I have not experienced much of the traditional college life. I'm pretty much only on campus for classes. But overall, it's a good school. I just wish circumstances had been better but I know many people who went here without Covid and absolutely loved it "

 " Great school to attend for certain degrees/schools. Some of the academic staff could definitely use some work and have become too comfortable with their guaranteed pension jobs, but most staff are great and will go out of their way to help you with anything. Campus is small but not too small, just right if you want to walk around. "

 " This is a very quiet university, probably not for you if you are looking for a party school. Also, there are some very rough neighborhoods around the campus, which is why I chose that I did not always feel safe on campus. I have gotten notifications of shootings from the school, very close to some of my classes. These were not done by students or anyone associated with the university, but by those living nearby. While the campus itself is nice, the city of Greensboro is becoming less and less safe, especially in the area around the university. I do not live on campus, I commute, mainly because I would prefer not to live in that area. "

 " This university is great and very diverse. They have made many improvements to campus in the last few years as well. There a numerous resources on campus that help students adjust to college life. There also many organizations and clubs that foster community. Overall a lovely place to learn. "

 " UNCG is a great institution with a lot of diversity depending on the department you are in. I would recommend this school for people who are looking for a balanced academic and social life. There are plenty of clubs and activities to do around campus. The climate is also moderate in Greensboro so it is quite pleasant to take walks around campus. "
