" Over all a good college. I would highly recommend the Undergraduate program as long as you are willing to self-advocate for your experience. Not a R1 school which was a plus for me as I got to focus on my own research interests. "

" A great learning experience with many areas of expansion. Many areas of excellence. Although it exists in a very rural area in the mountains of Western North Carolina with limited social options outside of campus. "

" Something that is unique to western is the small class sizes because it really gives you the opportunity to connect with professors one on one. The campus is in the mountains and the closest target is about an hour away in Ashville but, if you enjoy the outdoors and hiking and small towns western has a lot of that to offer. "
