" Great school for technical fields especially. The tuition is very low, around $5000 per year, full time, but the school still has high quality programs. It's a great choice for those who want to get an associate's degree part time, and Columbus State is a great choice for first generation or underprivileged students as well! "

" Columbus state community college is a wonderful school. The staff are great the campus is great and I love the atmosphere here. Everything is geared at your success and its amazing how easy things are when you know people can help you. Going to this community college will help you succeed and maybe even get you ready for transferring to a university. "

" The plus is the school is really cheap for in-state tuition (around $5,000 a year or a bit less for full-time with books included). A great option if you want to get a cheap associate's degree and transfer to another university (they have a good partnership with The Ohio State University). However, instructor quality mostly pales in comparison to professors at a major university. There's an occasional surprise, but mostly treat it like you signed up for online courses and prepare for independent study. Except, you have to show up to class, everyone takes attendance here and makes it a big part of your grade. That being said, the resources they use for teaching materials do seem good (for instance, one of the programming books sampled for Java is from a current professor at Princeton). "
