" I love this campus and the way they support educational and professional development. My classmates have become a class knit community that supports and encourages each other. I love the ratio of professors to students, because every class I have attended the professor always knew my name and was able to make an authentic connection with me. The opportunities made available to students on campus are endless! From sporting events, to social clubs, or case competitions, they provide opportunities for a full rounded experience. "

" I attended from 2000-2003 and while I was not a huge fan of life in Eugene (I prefer larger city atmosphere), my time at the University of Oregon was excellent. The campus itself is beautiful and very well laid out/accessible through multiple options. I chose to cycle or walk as much as possible because the parking situation (and in the last year, the traffic) was such a pain. The upshot to that of course is that you don't need to worry about designated drivers if you're walking, and there are plenty of decent bars around the campus for you to enjoy. As the dominant sports program in the state there is plenty to see and do in terms of collegiate athletics, and there is a very active greek life community as well. For international students there are lots of small groups and communities as well as campus-provided support programs. I also worked in the IT department for the campus while there and I was very happy to have been a part of building such a great set of resources for the staff and students. As a student I really appreciated all the classes I took and found the faculty very engaging -- I would have picked up a third major if I thought I could stand another term living in Eugene, but after 3 years of dealing with grass pollen allergies I just wanted out. " The Bootcamp has been a fantastic experience! I strongly recommend to anyone who like me is looking for a career change and a new field of expertise, or someone who is passionate about the technology field. "

" Overall, I would not recommend coming here unless the faculty in your field are excellent. A lot of faculty focus on research and do not care about teaching. If you are doing research, make sure that there are faculty members present who do research in the fields or topics you're interested in. "

" I have loved my time at UO. My program was small, and I definitely felt supported in all my academics (they got me back for grad school, too!). My biggest qualm is the constant tuition hikes; I could not have done the program without the scholarships I received. "
