" great school! Get out of your dorm and meet as many people as you can! Go to sports events, social events, and parties on the weekend if that's your thing, and definitely go explore downtown portland! Go on the service plunge as an incoming freshman and during the weekend on the bluff, sign up to stay with a current upperclassman! Many of my friends who did this still know the people they stayed with. "
