 " The MHCI program is a very challenging and compressed program but a rewarding one! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in becoming a UX Designer or UX Researcher. The Capstone project is where everything has come together for me, and it's a pretty close approximation of being on the job which is a huge plus. "

 " Location matters a lot, if you're not a fan of Pittsburgh it's going to affect your experience a lot. Also definitely need a car to do anything remotely fun in Pittsburgh. Academically it is a challenging university to go to, but it also depends on your area of study. I found my professors got better and more helpful as I took higher level courses but every humanities professor I had was great across all levels!! "

 " Great school for specialized studies across multiple disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Drama, Design, Music, Information Systems. There are many students who prioritize their studies and that generates an overall competitive atmosphere at this school. CMU students always have their heart in their work and is passionate about being the leaders of the next generation. Students here have a diverse range of interests which is reflected in the variety of social clubs we have on campus. "

 " Great institution! The professors are top notch and the administration is great. Definitely on par with some of the more prestigious schools out there! Pittsburgh is a great city, not too large and busy. The social scene could be better but there are four other schools in the vicinity. "

 " It was a great school with very smart and ambitious students. There's always a lot of energy to do something new innovative. Students like to collaborate in interdisciplinary activities. I did feel like the social scene was a bit low. "
