" No music program, so don't come here if you want to major in music. Also, freshman dorms are terrible. The counselling services are borderline worthless. But if you want to study engineering then go for it. "

" The food isn’t great. It’s just cafeteria food. There should be enough space for parking, but the university won’t allow you to have a car on campus until your junior year. The dorms aren’t great either, but that’s not a huge issue either. The social scene is great though. In the college of engineering, you’ll be very close to everyone in your major. Science has similar cohesion. Business is very cutthroat from what I’ve heard, though. I don’t know enough nurses or liberal arts kids to comment on that. "

" I absolutely love the Introduction to Chinese professor. He's probably the best teacher I've had so far for a language class, and he teaches really well as well. Most of my classes this year for this last semester (I'm a freshman in 2020, Villanova '24) were online, and it really shows that some of the teachers are really boring and/or don't know how to adapt to this new learning technique. The history classes and the one math class I was in was extremely boring. "

" Villanova is a great place to be in. For incoming undergraduates, it is understandable that it takes time to be fully acquainted with the campus scene. But you will gradually meet friends and find out the groups that you feel comfortable with. Always be on the lookout for events, there's always something to do on campus. However, as of the time of this review, 2020 is not the best year to explore the university due to the pandemic. It is expected that on-campus events will be live-streamed. Even so, things should recover as time goes on. Feel free to keep looking for reviews online to get a better view of what campus life would be like, as mine is slightly filtered with rose-colored glasses. "

" Villanova is a great university and I'm glad I went here. The environment is very welcoming and the campus is beautiful. In warm weather especially, the campus is very active and you'll see people doing activities 24/7. Villanova provides many opportunities to join clubs, go to job fairs, and just enjoy the overall college experience. Despite not being a traditional college town, students won't be bored as there are many places to go out right near the campus and in the greater Philadelphia area. "
