 " I recommend it without reservation! This university gave me all the skills needed to succeed and I am so thankful I chose PSU. I miss it for the people and the events too! I graduated and looked at grad schools and was unimpressed with their facilities and resources compared to PSU. If you like science,  research, great athletics, lots of clubs, good food, and good people... go to PSU. "

 " Working online is a bit more challenging than traditional classes. Much more self discipline and organization is required.  It is however very convenient for non traditional students with families or with full time jobs as much time is given for most work that is required. "

 " Overall a good university with a very strong alumni network and a very strong reputation in the US. Top 10 in materials science/engineering with an incredible faculty for that department in particular. Very big social/party school with loads of clubs and orgs to take advantage of. Only thing is it's sort of a college town in the middle of nowhere, so it's not in a big city and I feel it's slightly lacking restaurant choices, but there are still many good ethnic restaurants available.  " I enjoy how involved you can be as a student if you would like to be. I like that I'm graduating with a Penn State degree without it saying what branch campus I attended it makes me feel equal. I like how good Penn State's name is and how easier it will be to get a job. I enjoy my life on campus. I like my job and the clubs I am involved in. It's a really nice campus. Some of the professors are a little questionable but that's like that anywhere I just avoid the classes that are taught by them. "

 " I have done all of my college classes online. Some classes are definitely better organized for online learning than others.  Overall, it has been good. When I have needed help or to contact my advisor he has always been very available and willing to help me out. I do wish there were better electives, and more electives that include a creative/physical aspect like dance or photography. "
