" Overall, I had great experiences at URI. I grew both professionally and personally. I enjoyed my courses overall however the professors greatly varied. Some were absolutely fantastic while others were miserable. I also regularly had trouble with Enrollment Services when dealing with my tuition and financial aid, they would tell me conflicting or inaccurate information and I would have to go into the office every semester and explain what needed to be done, which often placed my enrollment for the next semester on hold which got extremely stressful. " I have transferred a few times looking for the right place for me and URI is definitely it! The students are social and the community is so lively. They also have great services for help as well! The dining hall is great and the food is always fresh, another big big bonus for me is they have waffle fries (not needed at all but definitely appreciated). "

" URI's academic staff does genuinely care about students and wants them to excel. The university offers plenty of academic advisement and aid to students that put in effort but if you don't try you will fail. It has a very good business school and economics department with plenty of other exceptional colleges as well including Pharmacy and Engineering. It takes its internship programs and career training very seriously regardless of major. The food is good but not great and the hours for the dining halls could be a little more convenient but there are plenty of other options around campus to eat. The university does try to keep the student body entertained with concerts and shows like Terry Cruiz and Juice Wrld but it can be boring in the winter months if you aren't apart of any organizations. That said it is very easy to get involved and the university does its best to encourage it. The are a variety of athletic social and leisure clubs to be apart of and if nothing available suits you its very easy to make your own organization. The biggest downside of the university would be it's parking and lack of effort on the university's part to fix it. There simply is not enough parking for the student body to rely on requiring commuters to come extra early just to find space. This has been a complaint here for a while and the university continues to spend money on less urgent ventures. Overall though this a very good college that will give out what you put in. "
