" Great school if you're attending for their more popular programs. Otherwise, I see no particular benefit to Johnson & Wales. Administrative staff in my limited experience aren't exactly helpful, nor would I judge many of them to be professional. Again, my experience is limited, but I did not have a good time dealing with their financial aid department. So, for what it's worth. "

" Johnson & Wales is a great school and perfect for commuter students. I lived there freshman & sophomore year which I ultimately regret because it is EXPENSIVE. I'm enjoying commuting and I park in the parking garage. You can pay-per-park or purchase a parking pass for the year.
The professors are amazing and so helpful, and having a smaller student to faculty ratio ensures that you will always get the help you need. The science building is beautiful and functional and I enjoy attending class there.
The only critique I have is I wish I was offered more help with academic advising (specifically with registration). I felt completely on my own when registering for classes, and as a result my schedule has been messed up multiple times and I'm worried I will graduate late.
For culinary students-the Harborside campus is so pretty and the culinary building is very impressive. I have only heard good things from culinary students. "

" 3.5 out of 5
Campus is nice, course load was easy. Stricter than most schools about parties and alcohol on campus, but plenty to do off campus. Lots of opportunities for internships or work experience while you’re still at school. "

" A big bonus for students at JWU is that there are no classes on Fridays (there are a few but it is VERY rare). Another thing that I liked about is that have trimesters rather than semesters. However, they are going to switch to semesters in Fall of 2020. For me, trimesters are great because it allowed me to take more classes and graduate a year early. "

" Great place if you're doing culinary arts. If you aren't doing culinary arts however, I would consider other options. This school is one of the biggest names in culinary and you pay for it. "
