 " School is great if you're going for agriculture or nursing. I'd go somewhere else for anything in the social sciences. Professors aren't very helpful unless they need something, and most of them want to turn you into a carbon copy of them (some of them have some extremist viewpoints) instead of teaching you how to think.  " I'm just a freshman, but I'm really loving my time at UTM so far. I've already made a bunch of friends and I'm enjoying all my classes. Plus, I've joined a few different clubs and been to some cool events, which has been great for meeting new people and trying out new things. "

 " University of Tennessee is one of the best schools in the country no I do possibly plan on a masters of Mississippi State my home away from home university of Tennessee is one of the best places to go for your bachelors and with Martin’s offshoot campuses it feels very homey and very close to home I highly recommend them as a student "

 " I love UT Knoxville! I think it has a reputation for being a big SEC party scene school, which isn't inaccurate. However, I think it deserves more recognition for the things that make it a good school academically. Nearly all of my interactions with faculty have been wonderful, whether with professors or administrative staff. UTK offers tons of resources to help students prepare for life after college, which I really appreciate. There is always help available for whatever issue you could face. It's also one of the highest rated universities for environmental initiatives, which is impressive considering that's not typical of schools in the southern United States. Overall, I think the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is a great school that offers tons of opportunities for campus involvement, employment, tutoring, etc. "
