" I have absolutely loved my time at Rice. It was the best decision of my life and I have no doubt a degree from Rice will set me up for a successful future. While the social scene isn't as crazy as a big state school, kids at Rice still party and have fun. Houston is a great city with amazing food and activities. It is very much a work hard party hard culture. Beyond that though, I think Rice is just filled with nice people. "

" Chose it over Duke, UChicago, UCLA, NYU, Dartmouth, USC, and UCB. No regrets. If you're driven, motivated, and comfortable with the residential college system, then by all means do not hesitate to apply to Rice "

" Great school - very quirky and required a specific type of person but the education overall is good. Top professors and many students who are connected in ways you wouldn't imagine. The Rice name on any resume ensures that you'll be finding a job ASAP -- but beware of the price tag... "

" The residential college system is unique to Rice and makes undergraduate living a fun, summer camp-like experience. Because Rice is a small school, there are several classes with small class sizes, especially outside of engineering. "
