" My experience while I was a student at Texas Tech University was great! I think there was a perfect balance between facilities, staff, professors, and resources for students. The only negative feedback on my part is that the cost of the university was really high, so it was difficult to have the money to pay for it. It was specially hard for international students which are not able to request student loans. "

" Professors were hit or miss but great experience overall. Plenty of housing around campus so it's not necessary to own a car when going to school here. Campus and architecture were also very nice. Lots of bars and restaurants close to campus. "

" i would say prepare to do basic boring university stuff like clubbing and drinking. its far from any major cities so if youre okay with not being close to concert venues or just anything fun, go for it. if you’re vibing with “small town” things, go for it. otherwise, go to a different school. "

" Large campus with plenty to do. I would recommend anyone to go to this University as it also provides inexpensive tuition and allows for a lot of educational growth in various fields. Texas Tech is overall a great school. I love the diversity and the number of nice people there are involved. I know many people who go to Tech and have been told they love it! "

" Some of the above were hard to answer as a grad student (for example, I don't use campus computer labs because they provide offices for grad students), but I would say that of the things that I need/use as a grad student, Tech meets my expectations. Tech is a large school with a small feel. I've enjoyed my time there thus far despite spending my first year largely under COVID protocols. "
