" Good staff and good community. The classes are all high quality and the school is well respected. The dorms are really nice and most other students are nice too. A&M definitely is a good school to go to if you want a great college experience. I found that a lot of my professors were nice and helpful. "

" Texas A&M has a homestyle feel to it. If you are into tradition then this may be the place for you. The people themselves are pretty welcoming and once you get past freshman year, the whole ultra proud aggie thing dies down and it is a regular university with a lot of maroon.
Common core classes are meh at best, and the major courses are dated. I am not sure if this is consistent across all universities, but it is true here. "

" It's a great university with a big aggie culture and it doesn't cost much. The look of the campus can be better. Career support is awesome. Football team is okay. It's in the middle of nowhere so it's a perfect place for study. "

" Great university but lacks diversity in race and ideas. However, I do feel a part of the Aggie family. I admire the majority of my instructors, and I feel prepared for my future career. In my current program, I feel some instructors/TA grade harsher than others. "

" Tamu is not a bad place to go to school. Most of the professors legitimately want you to learn and grow. However, the main administrators have shown that they don't care that much about the students and would rather save face than give us any big breaks. Also, avoid engineering. I know what everyone says about Tamu engineering, but unless you are willing to go through 4 years of pure hell for a job, it's not worth it. I have 3 engineer roommates and I have watched their major break them in just under 2 years. A smaller major like mine is better, you are more likely to get major advisors that care. If you make it into UT, go there. The classes are easier and it isn't the largest diploma mill in the country. "
