" I am part of a new master program, so I am essentially a guinea pig for the program. It has been handled decently. Since this is a graduate degree, a good portion of the above questions I do not have experience with since I live off campus and am an adult. "

" It's a pretty decent University to attend. Socially, it's a bit isolated but if you try hard enough, you can and will find events around campus. Academically, it's great, couldn't have asked for a better Computer Science Program. "

" Pros: Great professors, great research labs, diverse student population. Lots of different services on campus. Close to a lot of things (it's in a suburb). Great tutoring services.
Cons: Commuter campus, crowded parking lots, high tuition. Graduation ceremony in a tiny basketball court. Not a lot of student work options. Social life is dead and campus is really empty after 5 pm daily.
I mostly went to this school because it was the most cheapest option. I was offered scholarships and I lived at home with my parents. I would've rather went to a school father from home and a school that had a better college experience? It's also hard to make friends depending on majors, especially since most people stay in the same groups from high school.
I was a premed, Neuroscience student which was meant a lot of hard classes. I highly recommend PLTL especially for chemistry and organic chemistry.
Also please learn some of the policies that they have. I didn't know that if you take a class 3 times in a row, they charge you about $1k extra until after taking o. chem in the summer after failing it twice. Just be cautious!
Overall, the school is mediocre. But if you do want a real college experience, then choose something else. Especially if you want to live away from your parents and the people from your hometown! "

" Really enjoyed taking classes here. They also have one of the largest computer science departments in the US so that's helpful when needing technical assistance on a project. The dean of CS is also super helpful. The Capstone program for CS is also one of the most winning-est programs in the nation (out of like 500+ schools). "

" Good school, but with large commuter population hard to engage with other students. Parking was a problem since there's a large portion of students and staff who commute to campus. The library was one of my favorite places on campus. "
