" Academic Staff and Professor are a hit or miss. I've had both terrible professors and decent, but no one that I thoroughly enjoyed. The buildings and facilities are out dated. Student protection isn't a priority or this school. "

" Just ok. The location is unmanageably depressing, Beaumont Texas is a fundamentally desperate place, but the university itself is lovely, as are most of the students. Great programs in plent of feilds but a bit limited "

" Lamar is a commuter school for the most part in my opinion; it's affordable financial aid is pretty good, most people are nice (expect for maybe the bn store employees) and campus is clean. As I commuter it just seems like social events always seem to be at inconvenience time, but that's just me. "
