" Nice campus, nice university, nothing exceptional however nothing bad either. Overall it's a run of the mill College, campus is beautiful and has a nice social area. Nice staff and nice people all around. While there isn't anything exceptional that other universities don't have it is still a perfect university for anyone that needs that sort of thing. "

" By far, the best feature of AC is the faculty. Professors are very caring and invested in students' academics and personal wellbeing. Each freshman is assigned a mentor, whose role is to guide the student through their college experience and ensure that the student is meeting the required credits so that they can graduate in 4 years. That being said, the food is not great. "

" The school provides a good environment for students who want an intimate experience with peers and professors. Classrooms are limited to no more than 25 students, and every student has a mentor who looks after no more than 13 student. The schools social science and pre-med programs also shine through, however dining facilities and living quarters are average.
The main two negative aspects of this college are as follows. Firstly, the school is located in a small northern Texas town, and there is little to do or explore within walking distance. This isn’t helped by the fact that Sherman itself is not the safest of towns. This is probably the main reason for it being a “residential college.” Secondly, the reason I put residential in quotations. The schools board are quite unprofessional, and in the most recent year kicked off 95+% of the seniors off campus as they enrolled too many freshmen and didn’t think of ways to acclimate the students at a residential school. The matter was made worse as they only informed students about this matter 2 months before one was to apply for next years housing. "
