" Apologies, most questions are not applicable, as I am an online only student. I will say, I started in the accounting program and found the professors in the lower level classes to be too busy with "day jobs" to be of much help to students. Much better experience after switching to listed concentration. "

" Great university to attend. Majors and minors are plenty. A lot of clubs and activities to participate in. Football games are a plus. Don't miss out on Odu. It is a great university to attend to and that you should probably go there. "

" I graduated with my degree in Public Administration from the Strome College of Business earlier this year. ODU provided the flexibility to allow me to take online and in-person classes. Most of the faculty I encountered were very good and brought a lot of previous experience from their past life, when they worked in the industry. That real world experience was probably the most valuable part of the program. I chose ODU because it is one of the most affordable doctoral granting institutions in Virginia and value for money was important to me. "

" Great place to study remotely. I was not a traditional student and do not live near campus. The price was just right as well. The faculty and staff have all been very helpful to me when I need it. I was on the campus twice for summer institute. That was a great way to meet your cohort and get to know each other. The campus was alright but being outside of the traditional age college student I did not prefer that. "

" I graduated from ODU in 2011. I enjoyed my time there and my only regret is waiting until my senior year to get active in the campus community. I loved my time at ODU, especially my classes in Women's Studies. I highly recommend taking a women's studies class as a gen ed. It was so interesting and hooked me into becoming a double major in Communications and Women's Studies. The only negative about the school is there is no post office on campus. To some that may not be a big deal, but when I lived at the University Apartments, I had to go pick up a package at the post office on Colley Avenue. That post office has now closed. This could have an impact on those who rent textbooks, but I'm told all the books are online now anyways, so it may not be a big issue. "
