" I personally overall enjoyed my time here, but it is not for everyone, as the school has a high transfer rate. There are a lot of things at this school that I am not satisfied with, however I love the location of the school, the people here, and my department. There are ways to make this campus enjoyable and there are for sure pro's , but that being said it is easy to get stuck in a rut here and there are several con's. For one, it is a really small school so it can feel suffocating sometimes, but on the other hand, it is really nice to see people everywhere and to have a lot of the staff recognize me. There are a lot of really friendly and great people here, students, staff, and professors. The social scene is not your average party school, but it is improved if you are outgoing and get to know people through extracurricular activities. That being said, if you're more introverted, you'll have to put in more effort. The social scene is really what you make it here. There is also not a lot of diversity on campus, it is getting better, but it still is not adequate. There are not a lot of food options on campus, but a few of the food places are great and there are a lot of major chains surrounding campus. Administration and student services often fall short and are disorganized and commuter parking lots fill up quickly. The commuter lots are also all in inconvenient locations, with the exception of one that fills up fast. Campus does feel safe. I've had a great experience in my department, I've enjoyed most of my classes and most of the professors I have had have been great. I do wish my department had more specializations or requirements as well as more class choices and that it was more engaging. I do wish there were more clubs or at least more active ones, because a lot of clubs do not have a strong presence on campus, greek life and a few select organizations really seem to dominate on that front. Greek life plays a big role on campus. "

" CNU is a good place to be, it has a very pretty campus, and the faculty in my department are very nice. The school could be more diverse and it needs to work more towards making students feel heard, but it has potential. The student culture is not too competitive and you can find what you are looking for in a social life sense. "

" I loved my time at CNU! It's in a great location, it's got a great overall campus - the facilities are top notch - and my professors here were some of the most supportive and helpful professors I've ever had. Because of them, I'm hoping to become a professor soon myself. It's a great place and I recommend it to everyone thinking of pursuing a bachelor's degree. "

" Needs more diversity and appreciation of diversity. Nice campus, but much needs to be done. Being a racial minority, as well as a woman, I tended to stick to having friend groups with others that looked like me. I never felt understood by the other students on campus, or appreciated really by seeing the limited campus groups that actually targeted diversity. This especially held true after the 2016 election. Although having much room for growth, the campus can get there if the leadership allows it. After 2020, I have some faith that it'll get to that point. "

" Overall CNU is an amazing university, It has a beautiful campus, and the professors are amazing. However, there is a bubble in the community and the school is not diverse in its population. For me, CNU is worth it for the opportunities it provides and the amazing education I have gained. "
