There's a lot of criticism of Liberty, but in my experience, it's been comparable to places like the University of Florida or University of Arizona. I haven't felt any ideology being pushed, despite what some people say. Just be yourself and don't let the negativity get to you. "

" I can only speak to the online school as I've never even seen the actual campus. If you're not a Christian, you're straight up not going to like Liberty. Some professors are more lenient, but most all of them require biblical references on every assignment. I actually got an article published and I've already had someone tell me my research was problematic because it relied on the Bible too much. Also, you can tell that either the professors don't put too much effort into their classes or each class is regulated, because the structure of each class is literally the exact same, the lectures are older videos from other random professors, and the textbooks and other source material is all from the early 2000s-2010s. If you need a graduate degree and work full time, this is for you. Otherwise, you'd probably develop a lot more as an academic from going somewhere with more complicated, involved curriculums. "

I am working to finish my PhD and couldn't have picked a better school who have immensely talented faculty. I count it pure joy that I was able to attend such a prestigious university where I was able to apply my faith with my learning and grow as a researcher, as an individual, and continue to mature in my faith. Now that I am nearing completion, I couldn't imagine having taken my classes anywhere else. "
