" VCU has one of the best art-programs in the country. It also has a reputable medical school with various focuses. The business program could be better, but there are a ton of alumni and resources to utilize. "

" good. It was a good experience. Liked the city but definitely took some getting used to, not i love Richmond. The professors for the health sciences were okay not great. the professors for the business school in which i got a minor were all fantastic. "

" Great nationally recognized programs! In the heart of Richmond, and just a little bit from downtown. Clean campus. Staff in the Mass Comm/Ad program are amazing! A bit costly for the number of services offered vs. ones you will actually use. "

" VCU is in Richmond. I think people forget that. There will be many homeless individuals on campus grounds. Dont be mean to them. Think wisely if you have night classes because it is the city, so plan parking ahead and safely. "

" VCU is a great campus. I attended from 1989 - 1993. I enjoyed my time and felt I learned a lot. I think during my time there, I wished there was more career advising and help. I didn't feel like I was offered a lot of assistance to plan out my career path nor was I offered any job assistance. I would have also benefitted from some type of career program during my time in college to verify that I was on the correct career path. I think at 18 years old, it is hard to have your life all figured out but that's what was expected back at that time. You picked a career by osmosis and you were expected to pursue a job in it after graduation with no first-hand knowledge or any vetting of the career choice. I think if I had those opportunities, I probably wouldn't have chosen the major I got my degree in. "
