 " UMW is a small campus, so it is easier to connect with other students and professors. Many of the professors on campus are interested in teaching and ensuring students learn. In comparison to other campuses, the UMW community is close and welcoming. The only downside is the variety in programs they offer due to it being a small institution; otherwise, it a great place if you are interested in building relationships and connections. "

 " I enjoy my time here. I am an out-of-state student from Michigan and i think this campus and university-supported me in my transition and education. I am in many clubs and find it manageable with my class time and studying. On campus jobs are also available to a lot of students but they have worse pay than off campus jobs. "

 " UMW is a fantastic school! I am a career switcher graduate student, so I can't comment on what student life is like for traditional undergrads, but academically it has always been very supportive and appropriately challenging. I was very prepared for my new career as a teacher by the College of Education. "
