" Transferred later into a different school through NOVA, but one thing to note is that the classes here are much more difficult than other public schools. If you are also commuting, I would be aware of your pass because they have strict parking rules and will ticket you. "

" This school is phenomenal for starting off your college journey. It has a myriad of majors to select, and puts you on the correct path to obtaining success. While I can’t attest personally, many of the students weren’t traditional age (18-22), and seems to be very welcoming to those who are wanting to come back to start/finish their education after being in the workforce. " My only real complaint about the school is that the academic advisors were not very helpful in keeping me up to speed on my degree requirements, so I graduated 1 semester later than expected because I had to take a 1 credit class in the summer. Other than that, I loved NVCC, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. "

" Pretty good, cheap too. I really enjoyed it here, and it was a really good experience. As with any community college, it was a cheap experience, very cheap, the cheapest, believe me folks. In all seriousness, it was cheap, and I enjoyed it for what it was. Don't expect a ivy league level of education, but expect something not terrible either. After all, you get what you pay for. And what you pay for is very cheap, and it is not a lot of money, which is good because that means it is very cheap. If it wasn't clear how cheap it is, I'll say it all again:

" Not much of a social life in this college. Students really just come and leave. You can’t really do much in this college and when it comes to clubs it’s pretty insufficient regarding what you can join and where you can play sports too. The weather actually affects since we are up north in this state along with the college so not much to do. "
